P. Phillies vs Colorado by MagicRat

After a patchy trip on the road that saw the Phillies win three and lose four they will have been glad to be back at home, especially after the first game against the Rockies saw them score a comfortable 10-6 win.

Despite defeat the Rockies will remain an offensive threat with two of the most in form batters in their lineup. Over the last seven days nobody has more RBIs than the the Rockies air of Blackmon and Arenado with 12 and 11 RBIs respectively. Both, as well as the rest of the Rockies, will be happy to be facing the Phillies pitcher, Eickhoff. Eickhoff pitched against them earlier in the year in Colorado and he gave up eight runs.

For the Phillies they have the fifth best hitter over the last seven days for RBIs in Howard with a total of 9 RBIs and five of those came in the game last night against the Rockies. On the face of it the Rockies have a better pitcher in this contest as Anderson has an ERA of just 2.63 but Phillies will be coming into this game full of confidence and a couple of players, such as Hernandez and Joseph have a decent record against Anderson, therefore I think we could have another high scoring game with over 9.5 runs.
