Let's start with Bournemouth. They had really decent results in pre-season. 3 wins and 3 draws without any loses. But it must be said, that apart of Valencia, all other opponents was really low quality. Teams from championship and even lower. Bournemouth showed very solid defense, but they really lacked of strong offensive plays. Junior Stanislas won't help team today, because of injury. They added some depth in team in this transfer window, but there was no major signings.
Talking about Manchester United, they had one of the bet transfer windows in past 10 years. First and most major signing was Jose Mourinho appointment. This coach is born to win. And it must be said, that he do very well in his first seasons with team. He really knows how to handle team in Premier League, and with squad like Manchester United has it won't be so hard to do well. They also spend a lot on Paul Pogba- most expensive player in history. He will help team in future, but he won't start today, due to stupid rules (yellow cards from Seria A transfers to BPL..). Team also added Ibrahimovic, most inform strikers in world right now. There is not a lot of good old school strikers left in world and Ibra is one of those mohikans. He started his Unieted career with wining goal against Leicester in Community Shield. Also, team added Henrik Mhikataryan, winger who created most chances (83) in Bundesliga. I think he will fit very well in Mourinho schemes. United have very stong attacking power, but they have some problems with defense right now.
All in All, I just think that United have one of the best squads in long time. With "Special one" as their coach, they should make great things happen. Bournemouth just don't have enough experience in top flight. They know how to play as team, but individualy they are just alot of medium quality players. Edie Howe is young coach and he should lose his first encounter against such a genius mind of Mourinho. Even if Bournemouth tries to make "double-decker bus" tactics with 10 players defending, Manchester United should cope with that. Last year they struggled against this kind of defenses, but now with Ibra in line-up this shouldn't be a problem. They now can whip ball to him, and he should make good things happend at "second floor". I go with ManU -1 handicap and expect for 3-0, 3-1 win from Red Devils. Good luck.
