Hull City vs Leicester by Kamlesh

Hull-City
VS
Leicester
Hull seem to be in a complete mess at the moment as their manager Steve Bruce left the team due to the lack of transfer activity from the club. Moreover, they have lost some quality in their ranks notably Ryan Taylor, Sone Aluko and Mohamed Diame. Furthermore, several important players are injured such as main goalkeeper Allan McGregor, defenders Bruce, Dawson, Maguire and Odubajo.

Leicester have surprised everyone last season by winning the English Premier League. However, this season, the league will be much harder and they will have to play at a higher level in order to compete with so many top teams with world class managers/players. Last week, they suffered defeat in the Community Shield against Mourinho's Man Utd but they will not be too disheartened as they played rather well in that game. Midfielder N'Golo Kante has been sold to Chelsea and defender Huth is suspended.

On paper, everything seems to be in favour of the away side but in the Premier League football, anything can happen. However, I believe Leicester will find the net of Hull at some point in the game and the goal will most likely come from striker Jamie Vardy. He has excellent acceleration, pace, positioning, dribbling, shooting and heading skills. In my opinion, he is a complete striker. Last season, he scored 24 goals in 36 league appearances and was the top scorer for his club and second best goalscorer in the league. He was also named as the 2016 Barclays Premier League Player of the Season.

Leicester heavily rely on Jamie Vardy's skills and the team would be completely different without him. If Leicester score goals today, I think they will likely come from Jamie Vardy.
