Hull City vs Leicester by Charvie

Premier League is finally back and I can see some value in the first match already. This one is a lunch time matchup between newly promoted Hull and reigning champs Leicester.

This fixture has a letdown or a bookie trap written all over it, but I still can't resist. I mean Hull is tipped to get relegated before the season even started. This is because they are in a mess right now. Difficult situation within the organization and on the pitch as well considering all of the injuries they are facing. Nevertheless, you can never tell if Hull will show up with a heroic performance to bring down the champs. I feel like chances for that outcome are slim as Leicester has a very talented squad at their disposal.

They were an absolute positive surprise last season, but I do not expect them to stop now. Their success is based on a hard work and clever management, and this is something that should show throughout this season as well. it is unreal to expect them defending the title, especially with competition investing so much in players and managers. Also, they might find it hard to fight on the European ground as well as they are participating in the Champions League. This will take a toll on them.

However, for now, while this team is fresh and healthy, I doubt they will have such a hard time defeating Hull. Having said that, price of ~2.00 for the away win looks a bit inflated. I will back the Foxes with a medium-low stake of 6 units.
