Sint-Truiden vs Anderlecht by MagicRat

Sint-Truiden
VS
Anderlecht
After two games of the new Belgian football season Anderlecht sit on top of the league thanks to two wins but Sint-Truiden are in mid-table courtesy of one win and one loss.

Anderlecht have started the season in fine form after a 2-1 away win to begin with before a 5-1 win in their last match at home. Amongst the two league games have been Champions League matches against Rostov, a tie which they lost 4-2 on aggregate. Anderlecht have conceded in all four of their matches this season and in the two Champions League matches they conceded two goals in each of them. As well as conceding two goals in two of their four matches they have scored two or more goals in three of their four matches.

They conceded in their away league match which continues the trend from last season when they haven't kept a clean sheet away from home in 2016 and that run includes 11 matches. In those 11 matches they conceded two or more goals on six occasions but they have also scored two or more goals in six of those 11 matches. They had 13 matches over 3.5 goals last season in the league and seven of them came in away matches.

Sint-Truiden won 1-0 at home and lost 2-0 away from home but I could still see goals in this match, largely because of the kind of form Anderlecht are in and Sint-Truiden did finish last season struggling at home and conceding a lot of goals. In their final ten home matches last season they conceded two or more goals in eight of them. They only had five matches over 3.5 goals last season but four of them came at home.

I With both teams having a history of conceding goals and the scoring form Anderlecht are in I wouldn't be surprised to see over 3.5 goals in this match and I think odds of 3.50 offer decent value as I believe it should be closer to 3.00-3.25.pin

is possible but risky bet imo, last season at Stayen for Anderlecht was very bad game (not really deserved they took 3 points then), but last match at home against Kortrijk is promising, I think Anderlecht will take 3 points today
