Anderson vs Verdasco by ReguLator

ATP Nottingham

Quarter Finals

Kevin Andreson prepared a lot for this grass season. His goal is to pass 4th round in Wimbledon this year. 2014 and 2015 lost in 4th round. Last year in 4th round he lost 3-2 to Djokovic.

So far in 2016 he did not play bad (3-1) but I see that in every game he is improving. In the previous game he won a tough match against a heavy serve and volley player in 3 sets.

Verdasco is a overall better player but on grass I think he is being betrayed from him service. On such fast surfaces a good service is always among the best weapons for the victory. And Kevin Anderson will focus on this to get the upper hand.

So if this match ends up being a baseline game Verdasco will definitely have the victory. But for this to happen we must see Anderson serving really bad. Is this going to happen? From what we've seen in his previous 4 matches it is very very doubtful. Verdasco will struggle to break Anderson and I cannot see how he can win the game.

I bet on Anderson to serve really well. 6/10 stakes.

Good luck.
