Hungary vs Portugal by Cobbyj

Cristiano Ronaldo will look to take Portugal to their first victory of the competition in their final group-stage game against Hungary on tonight. Amazingly, Ronaldo and friends have failed to win either of their opening two European championship games with Iceland and Austria. It means the 2004 Euro finalists are in third place in their Group F behind leaders Hungary and Iceland and are in desperate need of a win. Will the real Ronaldo please stand up??

For Hungary, they can relax knowing that even a loss will not be enough to see them miss out on the knockout stages. As it stands at present, they would top the third-place mini-league if both Iceland and Portugal won. The Portuguese would be through with a draw, but they will not want to leave it to chance. I think Ronaldo has a point to prove so going for him to score twice at least and with the goalkeaper being 40 years old in the opposition, I think there's a solid chance
