Slovakia vs England by Cobbyj
Apparently Roy Hodgson is going to make up to six changes for England's final group game with Rooney, Kane, Sterling, Alli, Walker and Rose all set to be rested to the bench.
Vardy, Sturridge, Henderson, Wilshere, Bertrand and Clyne are set to benefit from the changes as Hodgson looks to give others in the squad a chance. IS this a mistake though? I agree with Vardy and Sturridge up front tonight (Even though I'm a Spurs fan) as I think Kane needs a rest, as do some of the others that will be on the bench. Although Gary Cahill is one booking away from a suspension, he has been earmarked to start in tonight's game.
The two late goals against Wales has completely changed the complexion of the group for England. They are now in the driving seat of the group but need a win to ensure they secure top spot. As mentioned above there are some changes for the England squad tonight, possibly due to fatigue, but there have also been some stale performances, especially from Kane.
In the last three times England have played Slovakia, England have been the victors and tonight, England should not have any issues beating Slovakia as long as they attack and stay tight at the back. I think even with the changes we will have more than enough on the field to overcome Slovakia, as long as they play "as a team" and not individuals. This is my only concern.
I think Slovakia won't be scared and both teams can score. I don't want to call the winner, but I am going with both teams to score tonight on this one as the odds are quite high at 2.2 /1, especially as only one game in 6 have both teams not scored. I can't understand these odds at all.
