Iceland vs Hungary by ScandinavianSR

The Iceland men's national football team and Hungary's national football team meet at Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France.

Our Boys made plenty of headlines when drawing 1-1 with the National Team of the “Quinas” at June 14th, and they're favourites to be backed at a double chance, but will that be the actual outcome of this upcoming fixture? They are the smallest nation in terms of population to take part in this year's UEFA European Championship, but the fans who travelled to France perfected the art of synchronised chanting in the fixture against Portugal.

The Magical Magyars made a solid performance as well at June 14th against Austria at Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux in Bordeaux. Austria were favourites to pull it off at a solid 1.67, but Hungary's strong defence held them back and even beat them 2-0 fulfilling a solid 34.00 odds. They were fantastic, but will they be able to pull it off in Marseille once again?

Iceland are surprisingly favourites to win this fixture, but just barely. Hungary have won the last five fixtures played between the two, but we need to keep in mind that it's been a long time since these five fixtures were played. Four of them were played from 1995 to 2005, and the latest were played in 2011 with a crushing 4-0 victory over Our Boys at home in a friendlies international match.

Iceland have scored in nine of their last ten matches while Hungary only scored in seven of their last ten. We've seen Hungary draw with Northern Ireland who surprisingly scored a goal and even won 1-0 against Ukraine at June 16th. It's typically what happens when Hungary meet the underdogs: they either lose or draw the fixture out, which is what we can expect from this match as well.

Seven of Iceland's ten matches had at least three goals, and all three of the last matches between these sides produced over 2.5 goals.

At the end of the day, a draw between these two struggling teams at a 3.25 is truly pleasing and appealing to my senses, but on the other hand based on history, both teams will do everything they can to win, and they both need it. Still and all, my suggestion or proposal as to the best course of action is to back both teams to score in this fixture between Iceland and Hungary at a solid 1.91.

it most likely will be draw however could be 0:0.
hungary will give to iceland all possesion and will wait for contre-attacks.
the question if iceland really know how to play as favorite against teams as hungary
it's funny if ridiculous hungarian team with 7 low-skilled strikers in some way manage to win 1;0 and goaledor will be 37 years old Zoltan Gera.

Austria must be the weakest team at EC by far since they could lose to this pathetic Hungarian team.
