Home United vs Balestier Khalsa by Cobbyj
Home United, who prefer a slow and patient build-up from the back, were taken by surprise by the high pressing game that the Young Lions took to them, which made Home United make some forced errors at the back.
They managed to pull back from a 2 goal deficite, but managing a draw, the only thing they probably acheived was showing other teams in the league how to play against the young lions.
Now, Balestier are unlikely to provide a similar style of opposition, but problems they could still pose for the hosts as their new signing Niko Tokic has already made impact on the pitch, scoring on his debut last week.
The Tigers have struggled this season so far with the lack of quality upfront, the addition of Tokic, could be exacly what they need. as he holds the ball up well and defends from the front. Will this be enough to stop Home United?
The Tigers' up front presence will also get a boost of confidence by the return of Syafiq Zainal from suspension, whilst Home United will most likely restore Faris Ramli to their line-up.
Even with the addition of the new front man for the away team, I feel Home United will simply have too much, so am going for the home win here.
