Wales vs Slovakia by Atipico07
This will be Wales' first match in a major tournament since they lost 1-0 to Brazil on Thursday June 19, 1958 (Pele scored). Wales' injury concerns are almost behind them with Joe Ledley, Joe Allen and Hal Robson-Kanu resuming full training this week. Ledley is recovering well from a leg break but Chris Coleman (Wales' manager) admitted it would be "reckless" to start him against Slovakia. Allen and Ramsey should start in midfield and Andy King, Gareth Bale and Hal Robson-Kanu should complete the starting line-up. Wales' star is, without a single doubt, Gareth Bale..he won his 2nd Champions League in 3 seasons in Real Madrid and he will be fully motivated today. I am expecting an amazing match from him. Wales is an offensive minded team..their manager said that they will try to enjoy this match and I'm expecting them to play offensive minded football. Their defense is not that good as they have conceded 8 goals in the last 4 matches so they will concede at least a goal imo.
Slovakia, on the other hand, is a good team too. Jan Kozak (Slovakia's coach) has talked about chances to qualify for the next stage saying that fvourites are England as they have a squad of top quality players but Russia, Wales and Slovakia each have their own qualities and it will depend on their form on the day. He thinks that this will be a very open group. It's obvious that they know that they have chances to qualify but they must win today. England and Russia are the favourite one to win imo and a draw today could be useless for Wales and Slovakia. They are an offensive minded team that has scored 8 goals in the last 4 matches but they also concede as they have conceded 4 goals. I think that they will try to win 3 points today but it will be not easy.
Odds for both teams to score and over 2,5 are amazing and full of value.
