Albania vs Switzerland by Rahul

Switzerland come into this encounter as a strong favourite to get out of this group in 2nd spot. They currently boast a talented bunch of players who are playing among the top clubs in Europe with Shaqiri, Xhaka, Liechesteinrer, Seferovic, Rodriquez, Mehmedi who have all had great seasons for their respective clubs coming into this tournament. Switzerland have a great talent going forward and scoring, which they have done in most of their games. Their opportunity has been defensively but taking on Albania should make their life easier for them to able to get out of this game with a victory.

Albania have the poorest offensive coming into this tournament with 7 goals form 7 games, and only qualified through the tournament because of a result awarded against Serbia of 3-0 due to pitch invasion. The team have done quite well defensively, which has seen them progress with only 5 losses in their last 18 games played. The team will see the Xhaka brothers square off against each other playing for opposing sides, and that should add some extra level of interest in the game. Albanians lost the 2 times that they have played Switzerland in the qualification for the World Cup 2014, so it will be a difficult ask to overcome.

Switzerland look like a good bet to win this game considering the form of their players and record against the Albanians, and I am backing the Swiss to win this game.

I dont think Albania "only qualified" because of the Servia game. they beat Portugal in Lisbon and draw Danemark twice. The secong game against Portugal lost 0-1 in the final minutes. Should give in more credits. But agree with you with the victory of the Swiss team. Sice the Albanian team may lack of experience at this level.
