France vs Romania by MagicRat
Romania came through what was arguably the easiest qualifying group and managed to be solid but against better opposition they have conceded goals. A friendly against Italy at the end of last year saw them concede 2 goals in a 2-2 draw and they have conceded in their three friendlies coming into this tournament, including a 4-3 loss against Ukraine, another of the weaker teams in this competition.
France will look to get their home tournament off to a good start and their last nine matches have seen them score two or more goals in eight of them. Furthermore, in their four friendlies played in 2016 they have scored three or more goals in all of them and they have been leaky in defence having conceded two goals in three of these matches.
Romania will likely sit back in this game but an early goal for France could open the game up and Romania possess one of the most in form goal scorers in the competition with Stanciu scoring four goals in his first five games for them.
