Baltimore vs Boston by Nvieira

Boston goes as a big favourite here and against such a poor starting pitcher, I have to agree. we can say that boston have been hitting a lot better recently than baltimore AVG (0.281 vs 0.254), and that they have similar bullpen data, so not so much separating the teams here, but the main difference here is the way the starting pitcher has been behaving lately, Jimenez has been a sinking ship in the last 3 games.

Jimenez (baltimore) have a ERA of 11.57 and a WHIP of 2.399 in the last 3 games - dreadfull! he has been giving oppponents lots of scoring chances, and lots of runs, and he didn't need a lot of innings to do that, in the last games he only pitched for 1.6 innings, enought to lose the game against cleveland... but even if we go back to previous games, the ERA was a bit better, but still with a WHIP of 1.782 he is a really poor starting pitcher.

So on the other side a average starting pitcher would be enought to make a difference - Porcello (Boston) is exactly that - ERA of 3.69 but last 3 games an ERA of 5.12, with a WHIP of 1.384 - he will say the performance wasn't very good, but compared with Jimenez, has been wonderfull - lol.

Porcello, is quite good in striking out, and altought not a amazing pitcher, should make a difference here, adding to this the baltimore haven't been hitting great lately...

so for me big handicap on this one for the Boston.

Impressive anybody can give + to this guy, ZERO winnings bets and 12 lost bets. Embarrasing to keep posting picks and btw Boston hitless first 3 innings, good job.
