Randers vs Midtjylland by ScandinavianSR

The 31st round of the Danish Superliga is almost over, and on this very day a match between Randers FC (RFC) and FC Midtjylland (FCM) is taking place.

The Horses welcome The Wolves from FC Midtjylland at AutoC Park in Randers. The hometeam have not succeeded defeating the away team in eleven fixtures. They have lost ten of those eleven fixtures and achieved one single draw. October 7th, 2012 is the day where Randers won their latest fixture against The Wolves in the Danish Superliga, but things were a lot different back then: they were one of the top teams even though they only scored 36 goals in 33 fixtures. It was a bad season for every single team, but times have changed and Randers remain one of the many unstable teams in Denmark.

Midtjylland is currently targeting an Europa League promotion, but it's a tough challenge as four teams are close to each other, and there are only three teams that can be qualified. Brondby are favourites to beat Viborg at home and there is no way that Aab will lose or draw against Esbjerg fB at home, so if Midtjylland lose or draw with The Horses, they are in trouble, because on May 26th, Aab will welcome Midtjylland at Nordjyske Arena in Aalborg.

RFC lost their last home fixture 2-0 against Brondby, and with Midtjylland visiting today, I don't see anyone but the away team to beat Randers. Midtjylland won the Superliga championship tournament last year, and got qualified for the Champions League. However, it didn't take too long before they were "relegated" to the Europa League. Midtjylland beat Southampton, Legia and Club Brügge and achieved a few draws aswell, which was more than enough to move on to the play offs. They beat Manchester United 2-1 at home, but in the return fixture they were beaten 5-1 at Old Trafford. Europa League is what Midtjylland plays for, and you can't be in doubt of that. Midtjylland beat SonderjyskE 3-2 at home on May 14th after being beaten 3-2 by the same team at March 20th.

FC Midtjylland has to win this match against Randers if they want to up their chances of getting qualified for the Europa League. They still have two other matches to come, but one of the opponents are not easy to beat. One of those opponents are Aab, a team that has won four Danish Superliga championships and three Danish Cup trophies. The last trophy they won was the double in 2014, both the Danish cup and the Superliga season. The teams that are a direct threat to Midtjylland's qualification for the Europa League are SonderjyskE, Brondby and Aab. Since only three of those teams can be qualified, one has to go without any accomplishments this season. With that being said, Midtjylland has to win this match against Randers FC.

I kind of like this bet, must win for FCM and they always score many goals vs. RAnders. The problem with this bet is their manager who is the worst ever, no tactical clues and very very boring style of soccer. FCM went from best manager in leauge last season to worst and I think he is the NeXT one to get sacked in the Danish League.

What a match! Holy crap. 2 goals in eight minutes from Midtjylland and one of them was from a penalty where Randers received a red card. WIN!
