Bangalore are 2nd on the IPL table and they have won three matches consecutively and this will give them hell lot of confidence going into the final knock out match against the depleting Delhi Daredevils. There's only one name that's going gaga over the last few days - VIRAT KOHLI. This guy has hit a century in a 15 overs match and that is just insane batting hitting the ball so clean and of course he has hit a century in the previous match against Gujarat and a 80 not out against Kolkata. He has scored more than 800 runs in a single IPL calender and averages above 100. I'm pretty sure he will make life difficult to the other teams if RCB qualifies into the next round, as those matches will be held in Delhi and Bangalore, first one his home ground and next RCB's home ground. Let's not go too far and looking into the match tomorrow, the pitch is very very dry and it will be very very challenging for batsmen to play on, as it will be used for the 2nd time in 3 days. I doubt if Gayle can play his magical knock on such surface and again onus lies on Virat Kohli. This guy as I mentioned scored two centuries and a half century in the last three virtual knock out games and I'm sure he's gonna give his best tomorrow.
I would like to place the bet on the player performance. I think the form Kohli is currently in it should be a cake walk for him scoring 37+ in each match and given the size of the ground, there would be lot of two's and three's on offer and he's gonna make a feast of them.
For all of those who don't know how player performance works:
- 1 pt for each run scored in the match
- 20 pts for each wicket taken
- 10 pts for each catch taken
- 20 points for a stumping
and finally the stakes would be refunded if player doesn't make the playing XI. I see Kohli scoring big in this match and hopeful he gets one or two catches.
All the Best.
