Leganes vs Huesca by ScandinavianSR

The 39th round of the Spanish Segunda Division is about to commence, and on this very day a match between CD Leganés and SD Huesca is taking place at Estadio Municipal de Butarque.

Leganés are so close to an automatic promotion to Primera División, an accomplishment that would mean the world to the players, the fans and Asier Garitano. It's a team that played the vast majority of its existence in the fifth, fourth and third division. Almost 40 years ago they played in the Tercera División where they several years later regained promotion to Segunda División B. Six years later they were promoted to the Segunda División where they've been playing with that league status for eleven seasons as of last year. Their last promotion was in 2014 where they won the playoffs in the Segunda División B and regained promotion to the Segunda División. In a hopeful manner, this is the year where they're going to have their debut in the Primera División.

The home team welcome Huesca, a very fluctuating team, being promoted and relegated very frequently. They've only scored 17 goals and conceded 20 in 19 away fixtures. They'll be facing Leganés, a team that they've had some trouble with during the last 2-3 years in the third division. Huesca just barely won the first fixture between the two teams in 2013 at home. Leganés didn't like that and beat Huesca 2-0 at home a few months after. Earlier in this season they met for the first time in the second division with Huesca at home. Leganes dominated the fixture as expected, but Huesca were able hold the draw at 1-1.

A win will put Leganés on the brink of a first season in the top professional football division of the Spanish football league system, and it's looking good. The team has only lost One single game at home during this season, but don't expect this fixture to be with flying colours.

Leganés, a team that just two years ago got promoted from the third division to the second. Will Leganes write history and gain promotion to the top professional association football division of the Spanish football league system?

Even though there's high chances of a low scoring match with under 2.5 goals, I'm going to back Leganés to win this fixture.pin

it seems Leganes supposed to win but without 4 key players Peno, Lazaro, Insua, Sastre.
In practical terms is impossible.IMHO is another good draw from Leganes.
