The Tuesday's heavy loss to Gornik Leczna (1:5) means that Podbeskidzie is now mathematically relegated. Something bad happened to this team a few weeks ago as they are clearly the worst side of Ekstraklasa since the end of regular season. Podbeskidzie make a lot of mistakes at the back, conceding many goals. There are a few foreigners in defence and other players claimed that some of them weren't fully motivated. Coach Podolinski is set to leave the team, he won't be coaching this team next season in 1 Liga. Anyway, hosts may be motivated for this clash. All tickets for this match are already sold out as this is the last top flight match for Podbeskidzie for some longer period of time.
Wisla is doing very well these days, playing pretty offensive football. They are totally safe. Wisla want to finish the league on 9th position, to be sure of that they must win. Anyway, a couple of younger players are expected to get a chance from the first minute - Zemlo, Drzazga, Uryga, Pietrzak. Experienced defender Sadlok has been left out.
It seems that this should be an open game, probably with many goals.
