Indians vs Kings XI Punjab by Aditya9920
Mumbai has finally struck the right combination and Rayudu has been very consistent at No.3 for MI. They have won 6 out of the 11 matches. The loss against SRH with very big margin had affected their NRR very very badly and they need win 2 out of the remaining 3 matches and that too with some good margins. Their batting has finally hit the chord with Rohit, Rayudu, Polly, Buttler, Krunal performing very well for them. Bowling has been ok with only Mitch being the strike bowler but overall it looks a good bowling unit, with Bumrah's pace changes, Southee's early swing, Bhajji's cunning spin. They are a very settled unit now.
Punjab are once again staring at the last position on the table, bottom two for sure. Actually they played well against KKR and almost won the game, then beaten Delhi with some excellent death bowling and lost to RCB with only 1 run. Their team selections have been worse with leaving Maxy, who performed well against KKR and playing 3 foreigners as if they had some very good Indian players. Barring is very much reliant on Vijay and rest of the order is very very inconsistent. Bowling is also very bad but there has been a slight improvment as the tournament progressed.
I feel this is the period when MI takes things seriously and play very hard. This has been the trend over the last few seasons for them. I feel they will win this match for sure.
All the Best :)
