The Irish First Division returns for the 11th round of the season as Waterford welcome bottom club Cabinteely to the Sports Center.

The home side have provided nothing short of vibrant and entertaining matches this season, especially at home where all five games have seen both teams score with 3 or more match goals scored. Waterford's most recent home match was last Friday which saw them walk away as 3-1 winners over UCD where Philip Gorman bagged a brace. That's 5 in 7 for the 34 year old and he'll be looking to add to that tally against Cabinteely.

Waterford haven't struggled to score goals this season as they have scored in every game, in fact they have 19 from their 10 league matches so far. Where they have struggled though is in keeping a clean sheet. No side from either two leagues have conceded more and this must be a worry.

The away side are enjoying only their 2nd ever year in Irish league football since gaining a license back in 2015. Unsurprisingly they finished bottom in their first season, and are bottom again but they are at least competing to some extent. With only 1 point away from home so far, the South Dubliners should see this game as a great opportunity to increase that tally against Waterford's leaky defence.

Cabinteely have a very young side and their main goal scoring hopes will lie with 18 year old Ben Hanrahan who has 3 from his first 10 games.pin
