Little explanation should be needed as to why West Ham will be fired up for this game. Not only is this their final match at the ground but also West Ham can still finish in a top 5 position. You may be surprised at how strong West Ham are on home soil this season with their recent loss to Swansea City looking like nothing other than an abnormality as that was their first league loss at Upton Park since a 4-3 loss to Bournemouth back in August.
The Hammers will also be looking for revenge over Manchester United as the Red Devils ditched them out of the FA Cup after West Ham had a late equalizer ruled out for offside. Their excellent goal record at home will help as they have failed to find the net only once in the league this season.
Only goalkeeper Adrian will be missing for West Ham.
Manchester United also need the points as Champions League qualification is now in their hands after Arsenal held Man City to a 2-2 draw. However, United's away record this season doesn't make good reading recording only three away wins in the league in their last 11 away fixtures with the three wins all being by a 1-0 score line. It's United's home form that has kept them in the race for a Champions League spot suffering only two defeats all season as well as the other top teams' poor results as United still haven't surpassed their lowest ever Premier League points tally this season.
Martial could be missing for United which would be a huge loss for a side who lack goals as it is and without him United could be found wanting in front of goal.
Manchester United need to win but it's questionable as to whether they have what it takes to defeat what is going to be a strong, pumped up West Ham line-up.
