Consadole Sapporo vs Kyoto Sanga by Alexis1016

Sapporo are a team with quality, but at home and their great stadium Sapporo Dome they are not impressive. What I want to say is that they are not a reliable team at home and I wouldn't back them this weekend against a pretty strong side like Kyoto Sanga. Shinji Ono is back in training after injury, but it seems this game came too early for him and most likely he will miss out again.

I'm quite surprised that Sanga haven't won after 4 rounds, but they did 4 draws. They have a very good squad with a lot of good and experienced players. They have lost some talented young players in the winter break, but they bring in some quality players for this level of play like the keeper Sugeno, defenders Suganuma (he's back after suspension), Honda or Someya. Other two good players who they signed are strikers Lee Yong-Jae and Sergio Escudero. The former U23 Japanese international Escudero missed the last match, but I don't know why. The Japanese media didn't reported nothing about a serious injury, maybe was only a small injury who kept him out against V-Varen. If he will play the Kyoto chances to win will increase, but even in these conditions Sanga have enough quality to win against a Sapporo side who doesn't play at full capacity in front of their own fans.
