Pittsburgh is one of the hottest teams in the NHL in this moment, as the Penguins seek a seventh straight win and ninth in twelve games since the beginning of March.

Pittsburgh’s offense is in a red hot form lately, as the hosts have scored a total of 23 goals in the previous six games (3.83 per game), including ten goals in their last two games at Consol Energy Center against the Carolina Hurricanes on March 17 (4-2) and the Washington Capitals last Sunday (6-2).

Sidney Crosby has one goal and seven assists in the last six games, Chris Kunitz contributed four goals and one assists, Kris Letang has two goals and two assists in this period, while Patric Hornqvist - one goal and three assists.

The New Jersey Devils are coming off a 2-1 win over Columbus Blue Jackets last Sunday, fifth for this team in ten games in March (5-5-0).

The Devils, however, suffered two heavy defeats in their last two road games (1-7 vs. Anaheim Ducks on March 14 and 3-6 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets last Sunday) and haven’t won a single game at Consol Energy Center since Feb. 10, 2013 (five consecutive losses, three of them with two or more goals difference).

Marc-Andre Fleury (32-16-6 with a 2.29 GAA and .922 SV%) will start for Pittsburgh. He is 6-2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .920 SV% in six games in March and 4-1-0 with a 1.39 GAA and .939 SV% in his last five start versus New Jersey.

An interesting fact is that Fleury has gone 12-4-2 with a 1.76 GAA and .936 SV% in his previous eighteen games against opponents from the Metropolitan Division this season.

Scott Wedgewood (1-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .964 SV%), who will start for the Devils, impressed in his NHL debut against the Blue Jackets last Sunday, but now the 23-year-old goalie will face one of the teams with the best efficiency in offense in the Eastern Conference.

The New Jersey Devils won the first game between these two teams this season (4-0 on Nov. 14) but the Penguins responded with two wins in the next two games in Pittsburgh on Jan. 26 (2-0) and in Newark on March 6 (6-1).

I think that the Penguins are capable to win that game with more than one goal difference.
