New Zealand vs Bangladesh
Bangladesh almost knocked out India out of the World Cup, but their brainless cricket had not only threw them out of the world cup, but also proved that world you need brains to finish a match and learn something from players such as Dhoni, Faulkner on how to finish the games in modern day cricket. Who on the earth would loose 3 wickets in 3 balls with 2 runs required of the last 3 balls, 2 settled batsmen in and a below par bowler at the other end. This simply shows you need not only emotion but bit common sense on how to play cricket. Coming to their form, they played well against in each of their last 2 games, but lost to Aussies before they themselves gave the match to India. Their batsmen are in good form with Mahmadullah providing the resistance in the middle order. Bowling seems to be ok with lot of dependence on the latest sensation Mutifizur Rehman.
On the other hand, New Zealand have adopted to the Indian conditions better than any other team, including India. They beat India with 45 runs, beat Australia by 8 runs and Pakistan by 25 runs. Their approach is very simple: Bat First, score on par with the conditions and tie up the opponent batsmen using their spin bowling. They adopted the same strategy since match one and I don't see any difference in their next match, given Eden Gardens is a good spin track.
I see New Zealand as favourites in this match and Bangladesh will not be able to come out of the result against India. They may even rest some of their major players, as they are already knocked out of the World cup. So, I expect New Zealand to win the match comfortably.
All the Best.
