Oklahoma vs Houston Rockets by Lloyds
Houston has been a mess this season, from the very beginning so its not expected from them to pose any serious threat to Oklahoma tonight. However, the Rockets are finding themselves comfortable in fast-paced matches which can also be said for Oklahoma, who are running the floor like crazy, without paying too much attention defensively. The reason for such tempo is duo of Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook, who are both scoring machines and are wreaking havoc among defenses around the league. On the other side, their former teammate James Harden is also playing in a similar style except his defense is horrendous, which is affecting his team in a negative way this season, making them all look like poor defensively. Harden will be a game-time decision for tonight's contest but looking at the situation the Rockets will probably have to play him as they are in danger of losing the playoff seed, or finishing on the 8th spot which would take them to face Golden State in the 1st round (let's face it that would be practically an automatic elimination).
The hosts are heavy favorites here and probably will win because the Rockets are unable to get defensive stops. The visitors are among worst teams this season when it comes to performing defensively but they will try winning the game on offense, thus following the basic unwritten basketball rule "offense beats defense any time of the day", which is why I reckon a lot of points from both sides.
