Lecce comes from a hard-fought victory in the visit to Monopoli on March 12 (1-0) and continues at full speed the race for automatic promotion in the Italian Serie B.

In the point of fact, the hosts won only one point from their last match at Stadio Via del Mare against Melfi at the beginning of the month (1-1), but won each of their previous three games here in 2016 against Juve Stabia (2-0), Martina Franca (3-0) and Foggia (3-1), as well as eight of the last ten (8-1-1 17/5).

Piero Braglia has almost a full squad to choose from, with the exception of Matteo Liviero (midf.), who got injured in the last match against Monopoli.

Catanzaro is passing through a difficult period, the guests are winless in ten consecutive games in 2016 (0-5-5 5/17) and suddenly found themselves on the edge of the relegation zone, with only one-point advantage over Catania (fourteenth position).

Catanzaro continues to struggle in attack (the guests have scored less goals compared to any other team in this league with the exception of Castelli Romani), while the defense conceded a total of six goals in the last two away games in Martina Franca (0-3) and Matera in the last round (0-3).Key player like Davide Moi (def. / 1 goal) is unavailable due to injury.

Both teams have enough reasons to seek three points today, but Lecce is obviously in a better form than Catanzaro and it is well known that home court advantage is very important factor in this league.

I think that the hosts are capable to cover this handicap.
