Nordsjaelland FC vs Copenhagen by Mudhara_9er

Early bet.

Nordsjælland will host league leaders Copenhagen in a match the away team should be able to win. The odds are a little higher then usual because Copenhagen were in action on Wednesday in the Cup against Randers which ended 2-1 after extra time. Copenhagen used many reserve players so they shouldn't worn out on Sunday.

Nordsjælland have a record of 1w 1d 1l in their first 3 matches after the winter break and the side main goal will be finish midtable and avoid being sacked into the relegation battle. They are generally a team that enjoys play possession football but they are also a team that focuses on developing youth players. They come into this match off a 3-1 defeat to Odense and though they defeated Midtjylland, it was only after a result card was given to Midtjylland that they took control of the match. They defence hasn't been impressive and with top goalscorer Bruninho now in China they attack will not be a huge threat to Copenhagen's defence.

Copenhagen have the league's biggest transfer budget as their aim is Champions League football, they have failed to win the league for consecutive seasons and are fully focused on winning it this year. They have defeated both title rivals Aalborg and Midtjylland, giving them a 9 point lead to 2nd placed Sønderjyske. The team and coach are very experienced and will not take their lead for granted, making this match yet another final that they must win until the title is secured.

Copenhagen can be happy that marquee signing Santander had found is goal form, scoring 3 goals in the last 2 matches.

Please note that Copenhagen haven't won at Farum Park since 2013 but I believe the team is on a very high level and have loads of attacking quality to settle this match.
