FC Copenhagen vs Randers by Mudhara_9er

FC Copenhagen will host Randers FC in the Danish Cup. The hosts come into this match off a 6-2 victory against title rivals Aalborg. Copenhagen could have easily won the match by a bigger a scoreline and were never under any real threat of losing the 3 points. In this match head coach has promised changes as he wants all his players to feel worthy as well as give the players coming from injury a couple of minutes. Regardless of the changes Copenhagen will have a really good chance of winning because they 2nd XI is very strong, Toutouh and Cornelius both substitutes in the last match scored and will probably both start, while players such as Norwegian international Høgli, Kadhri and Remmer would possibly make it into any other Danish Superliga team. It's taken time but it seems Solbakken has finally got his team playing the way he wants and with the belief that they are the best team in the league, his reserves will always want to put in a performance that can get them in the 1st XI.

Randers come into this match off a 1-0 defeat at Brøndby making it their second 1-0 defeat in a row after Esbjerg defeated them last week. The side isn't in the best place mentally because of internal problem between former captain Keller and Børring. Both players are out of team and they issue will definitely have an effect on the rest of the changing room.

Copenhagen have won 3-0 and 4-0 respectively in their last two home matches against Randers.

This is the cup and surprises do occur but i doubt Randers have the quality and mentality to defeat an inform Copenhagen at Parken.

Copenhagen never fields strongest lineup in domestic cup games.

...and thus you lost your pick. When will people ever learn to put a little effort into research?

@Joey easy to be smart now :) They were winning until stoppage time and this is football, they stil L progressed to the Semi-finals

I disagree. It's all about the reason for the pick. Your point of view was totally flawed due to poor research. You clearly saw that in the game as well. Had FCK used both their regular full backs, they would have won comfortably. They didn't however and Randers were the better team in huge parts of the second half. A well deserved equalizer.
