Paide vs Levadia Tallinn by Luca Garzeli
Levadia played 2 games at home with a positive result in both two, 0-0 draw vs strong Flora and 1-0 vs Parnu, in a game that Levadia dominated for 90 minutes, but only managed to score once.
In my opinion Levadia team it has devaluated since last season. Some good defenders left the club (Laitinen, Pikk, Rakhmanov), but at least they could keep half of the midfield backbone with Antonov - Luts, that will try to step up and play without key player El Hussieny. Ratnikov from Sillamae and Kaljumae, returned from loan to Trans Narva will shape a decent midfield.
They formed with double 6 Antonov - Radnikov/Kalljumae and them in OM Luts - Marin/Ratnikov - Kobzar, the new russian acquisition in two first games at home. Striker Hunt hasn't score so far, but is expected he could repeat the 2013 good performance's season when he scored 20 goals in Meistriliiga.
As far i know, Ratnikov is a good defensive coach, as they turned Sillamae Kalev in one of the less scored teams in 2013. Levadia hasn't received a single goal so far, and Paide team is more or less the same team of last season, Rooba coach mantain the same players, and last season Paide only failed to score 4 times in 18 games at home, with funny games against Levadia as 1-5, 2-4, but early in the season they are struggling to score with two defeats, and today I think that game could be under 3.5 goals, with a good defensive effort by Levadia.
There are a gap of quality between these two teams, but I still don't know if Levadia could reach Flora in quality this season. We need some more games to see the teams, but so far the numbers are clear, 1-0 / 0-2 in goals scored.
