Malek Jaziri vs Djere by Alexcosta19
Really surprised with the odds here for Malek Jaziri to win the match in full event so that will be my tip.
First masters 1000 this week, but also some challengers tournament and this one on indoors hard court in Mexican territory. Surprisely, Malek Jaziri is in this challenger and not at Indian Wells. Kinda surprising as his rankings is not far from the top 100 and looking at the Q table, he surely had a chance to go though qualifs at least. But Jaziri has been really poor lately, 9 matchs and only 2 wins this year.
He is a hard court player, no matters if it's indoor or outdoor, so that is important to notice. The fact that he is not in Indian Wells is also important to notice, that shows that he will be likely to show some good motivation there and will not "tank" the match as it can happen sometimes with top seeds in challengers.
His oponent he is kinda better form but not really, firstly he is not a hard/indoors court player. Only 37 matchs on hard courts and 20 on indoors court with ratio of 23/14 and 11/9. He is 0/2 on hard and 0/1 on indoors this year, these 3 matchs were in challengers.
Since mi-february he went back to ITF tournament, and that was on clay where he was on a good run of 8 wins, winning one ITF and failing in the Semi's of the other.
Odds are really high as Jaziri is on his surface here while his oponent is not. Jaziri had poor % of wins this year but he only played Davis Cup match and ATP main tour matches. His last two matches were 5 setters on Indoors court this weekend so huge advantage again. Djere is a young player (20yrs old) hitting ranking of 237# actually but he has been ranked 170# so not in the best form of his life since couples of months
I personally saw play Djere on clay courts and he got a good first serve so that can help him but still I think Jaziri will have huge motivation here and that will guide him to a important win for the confidence. Odds are too high I think.
