Hull vs Arsenal by Mudhara_9er
Tonight the Gunners will be eager to end a winless 5 match run which began agaisnt tonight's host's. They come into this match off a 2-2 draw against 2nd place and biggest rivals Tottenham. The result didn't not benefit either sides title chances as league leaders Leicester won and added 2 points to their lead, though Arsenal will be happy to have collected a point after playing more then 30mins with 10 men and coming from behind to level the score.
Hull come into this match off a 1-0 loss away to Birmingham City, only their 2nd defeat in 13 matches. They are 3 points behind 2nd placed Middlesbrough who occupy the last direct promotion spot. Hull will find moral in that they have not lost at home in their last 8 matches, played on Thursday thus giving them 2 days extra rest and host an Arsenal side struggling to find consistency.
Arsenal have not lost to Hull in 11 h2h matches, and have won 4 out of 4 matches played at Hull City's home ground.
The Gunners have difficult tasks of overturning their 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions as well as closing an 8 point gap to league leaders Leicester with only 9 matches to be played. That is why I believe the Gunners will be focus 100% on defending their FA Cup title for the 3rd consecutive year.
Hull on the other hand will have a go tonight but promotion to the Premier league should be a priority. With Middlesbrough and Brighton regained form, Hull will need to get back to winning ways in the Championship in order to secure direct promotion.
Hull have a very strong defensive line while Arsenal have a very powerful Attacking line (on their day), I expect Arsenal to have the most possession while Hull lurk on the counter.
