Las Palmas vs Getafe by Zhagath

An interesting game this Tuesday in La Liga between Las Palmas and Getafe.

From my point of view, the team from the Canary Islands are favourites because of the offensive potential they have got and because they need points to move away from the relegation zone. For this reason and considering that the “blue” team level has dropped away, I see the local team winning this game. Las Palmas are motivated right now after winning 0-1 away at Eibar and managed to get 3 more points in their struggle to move away from the relegation zone. With 24 points in La Liga and ending a streak of 3 losses in a row, I think the local team has got more optimism for this game. They have got 5 wins, 3 draws and 5 loses at home until this fixture with 13 goals scored and 13 goals conceded. Their last game at home was against Barcelona (1-2) and the hosts played very well, the Catalans had a complicated game and they only won by one goal difference.

On the other hand, Getafe is the second worst visiting team in La Liga so far this season , with only 1 win, 2 draws and 9 loses with 9 goals scored and 30 conceded. They managed to get only 5 points away from home, same as Levante, both teams being the worst teams away from home. Also they don’t come to the islands in a very good form since they lost 6 games in a row, the last one a few days ago at their home against Celta Vigo 0-1. They have got 26 points and they are at one step away from falling into the relegation zone. So the “blues” will have a tough match in the islands and I don’t see them capable of achieving anything here since Las Palmas is a complicated team to play in their field.

My pick is Las Palmas to win. Good luck!pin
