Pakistan vs United Arab Emirates by AlQahira
The only one game today in Asia Cup: Pakistan vs United Arab Emirates; the difference between these two is humongous. UAE is only an associate nation, they are not a full member but they managed to play at the ODI World Cup last year in Australia and New Zealand where they lost all matches but left some good impressions. They failed to clinch a spot for the 2016 Twenty20 World Cup, so here at the Asia Cup is their only chance to mingle with the big boys.
The pakistanis had their reputation tarnished in their first game at the Asia Cup, they lost in front of their arch-nemesis, India, after posting a very low total. They were asked to bat first in that match after losing the toss, they totaly misjudged what a good total on a a wicket where the new ball keeps zinging off a green pitch. They posted their lowest total, 83, but an enormous spell from Mohammad Amir made this match much more enthralling than we supposed after the first innings. Pakistan has said it had learned its lesson after that game. UAE had major batting problems in their two first matches, and considering the attack Pakistan boasts the emiratis should not be able to post more than 120 if they bat first. All in all this should be an easy game for the "shaheens".
