Houston Rockets vs SA Spurs by Marci

SA-Spurs
Its time for me to get back to NBA action and first pick isnt the safest one, but is quite interesting for me. Houston Rockets are hosting hot San Antonio Spurs. In last 11 games Spurs have lost only 1 match and Houston in same amount of games has won only 4, but this is derby for Texas and in which in last 7 games played at Houston SPurs have won only 1. In that 7 games they went over this margin only twice.

Spurs are playing best defense in the league and have slowest pace, they often "kill" the game with slow and long attacks and that works great for them with only 92,4 points allowed per game what puts them first with 4,5 points less than second in the league (just amazing). Houston on other hand is playing run&gun with many many 3pointers per game and no defense so they often go over 100, but they concede even more.

Biggest threat for Spurs and this bet is and best player of Houston - James Harden who is playing hot&cold this season, but is in great shape lately (33,5 ppg in last 10) and tonight he is going on best defender (forward) in the league Kawhi Leonard who left him under 20 in last 4 games. Howard and Aldridge will be battling in the paint so that leaves Ariza and bench to try to score 70+ points and that is just impossible unless Thornton goes crazy behind the line.

If Spurs succeeds to put up their slow basketball like they have in almost all games this season and in last 3 seasons against Rockets we will see another game with little points and with Leonard so far being able to stop Harden there isnt anyone to put up Houston over 100 points so I see real value in this bet. pin

Who give a F about this game :) big game tonight is GSW at OKC ;)
Nah, kidding, good bet/preview, but wanna add some info :) recon that Harden had 2 last good games (42 and 48 points), but maybe fall back, and Houston just took important win against Blazers who where also very impressive (beat GSW... fans started to shout MVP for Lillard), also recon first game back at Houston for Rockets too after road, they may wanna try for continue with winning after win against Blazzers that broke losing streak. Also, Leonard may also feel not comfortable yet after injury to go 100%... at his first game
