Westerlo vs Mouscron by Gilles

Saturday match of 28th playday in Belgian Jupiler Pro League between Westerlo and Royal Mouscron-Peruwelz. Both teams are at the bottom of the ranking with both 26 points and have to fear relegations. This game is very important for both teams and winner will take 3 important points in relegation battle (which also involves OHL with 25 points).

Westerlo lost in Club Brugge last week, which wasnt unexpected against leader, but 6-0 made it a defeat with a bit of shame. Westerlo, missed important player in Brugge, Benjamin De Ceulaer, who will be back after 5th yellow card suspension last week. Westerlo has almost full team, no new missings.

Possible line-up Westerlo: Koen Van Langendonck, Mitch Apau, Kenneth Schuermans, Filip Daems, Jordan Mustoe, Benjamin De Ceulaer, Jens Cools, Robin Henkens, Khaleem Hyland, Raphael Lecomte, Frédéric Gounongbe

Out: Matthys (2 days suspended due to red in U19) ansd also Lolo, Schouterden en Jeurissen

Misses next match if booked: Gilles Ruyssen

Last week, against OHL, Mouscron could turn losing results of 0-1 in 10 minutes at home stadion and could eventually win 3-1 in what looked lost game. But with news OHL players bet on own OHL matches maybe we saw rigged game last week. Who knows? Dussene is back after suspension for Mouscron and may take place at start again as captain. Markovic isnt available for Mouscron, he sit out suspension.

Possible line-up Mouscron-Peruwelz: Vagner, Mickaël Tirpan, Jean-Charles Castelletto, Noe Dussenne, Mustapha Oussalah, Luigi Vaccaro, David Hubert, Anice Badri, Julian Michel, Valentín Viola, Elimane Coulibaly

Out: Filip Markovic

Misses next match if booked: David Hubert and Marquet

Mouscron also lost former owner of club last week due to suicide, they had funeral on Tuesday.

Westerlo made big event of match, with 1500 extra fans and children who will welcome players, the game is sold out. Westerlo played good in 2016, only last week disappointed with big loss against leader but without Westerlo starplayer De Ceulaer. I expect Westerlo to bounce back after last week at home with support of fans in important game. Mouscron is sometimes boring to watch matches, hard to score against, as we saw in Gent match. I think Westerlo can force opening with fans, De Ceulaer and goalgetter Gounongbe.

My bet is that Westerlo will win this game at odd of 2.63 at Pinnacle.

Leuven was favorite to win match against Oostende, but everyone should also agree it wasnt an easy task against team that beated Gent 5-2 last week
