Im actually a big fan of Bostons team at the moment, they have a playoff worthy lineup, and not many teams are managing to beat them these days, They have won 14 and lost just 6 of their last 20 games, usually beating lowly teams out by around 9 points + but playing up pretty close to stronger teams such as Clippers, Cavalleirs, Toronto and even Detroit
They are doing great at creating chances for each other, and Isaiah Thomas really takes on the point guard role selflessly pushing out rather an assist than an attempt for his own account, althoug he stepped up in 2 half of the bucks match, to make it 27 points of damage to a withstanding bucks team, who ended up losing by only 5 points.
On the other end we have a Miami heat team who has actually endured hard times alot better than sceptics predicted. Players are stepping up to the challenge of teammates injuries and theres good chemistry going on on this team now, compared to their last match with Boston on the first of december, with Bosh and Wade pulling the majority of the work. This is changed now. alot of players are comming out and playing better, which is opening new doors.
The heat is missing Chris Bosh, perhaps for the reminder of the season due to a potention blood clot comming at him. However Luol Deng is doing a good job of filling out that position averaging 16.9 points over the last 10 games and upping his average rebounding from around 5 up to 8 for january month.
For the record, Boston should also have issues in the post, as they are still missing Kelly Olynyk. Hassan Whiteside will be dominant as he usually is for the heat.
The heat have only lost to Playoff teams in the top end of the qualified teams in their 10 last games. And im actually thinking they are likely to take down this Celtics team. If not, they will surely not lose by the estimated handicap.
So to make the bet safe aswell my play is + 8.5 Miami Heat handicap. Lets go Heat.
