Derby vs Blackburn by Levsky

Derby picked up a huge result on Saturday at Brentford. Trailing 1-0 with 10 minutes to go at Griffin Park they looked certain to be heading for an 8th game without a win in the league and most likely a 2nd defeat for new boss Darren Wassall. However a stirring late comeback saw the Rams win 3-1 and that will have given them a massive boost coming into this game. They find themselves back in 5th place and can further close the gap on the top two with 3 points here.

Blackburn were involved in the FA Cup at the weekend but it was another afternoon to forget for Paul Lambert and his side. They were beaten 5-1 by West Ham at Ewood Park despite taking the lead early on through Ben Marshall. They did win their last league game, beating Fulham 3-0 but had failed to win any of their 9 Championship matches prior to that. My pick is over
