O'Higgins vs U. Catolica by Dajkula

O`Higgins welcomes Universidad Catolica in the 6`th round og the Chilean Clausura. O`Higgins is placed 7`th in the league with 7 points while Catolica is second with 13 points but with a game less than first Palestino.

The host are undefeated at home in more then a year or 16 matches. They took 10 wins with 6 draws witch just shows what kind of a job awaits the Catolica. O`Higgins is tough team indeed but if any team can open them up it is Catolica. Catolica has been the most convincing team so far and a real eye candy to look at. Catolica has scored even 18 goals in 5 matches so far but has also conceded 9. Their attack is brilliant but they place to many man forward leaving them very vulnerable at the back. They conceded first in their last 2 matches but always managed to fight back. Their scorers Castillo and Vargas have been excellent so far with 8 goals but also Gutierez and Llanos are doing their share with 6 and 5 goals. It all goes to the style the coach Salas prefers but unfortunately he is suspended for this game. Also injured for today are captain and defender Alvarez(13-1) and attacker Vargas(16-8, second scorer). Even without him they managed to beat Esppanola by 4:2.

O`Higgins is also without the captain and attacker Pablo Calandria(20-10) and the suspended Ramón Fernández(mid.20-3). These are important absences but I still think goals will come.

4 of the last 5 times these teams met the games ended with over 3.5 goals scored.
