Only one point for Temperley from the previous two rounds, as the hosts had a lot of luck in their first match at this stadium against Boca Juniors on Feb. 7 (0-0) and suffered a heavy 0-3 loss in the visit to Colon de Santa Fe last Friday.

Ten new players signed with the club in January, some of them with big experience in this league like Matias Sanchez (midf.) from Colon de Santa Fe, Martin Perez (midf.) from Quilmes, Cristian Canuhe (midf.) from San Martin, Gonzalo Rios (forw.) from Club Leon, Ruben Ramirez (forw.) from Quilmes and Marcos Figueroa (forw.) from San Martin, but the majority of the other players are young and/or without experience on this level and what is also important to be noted: three important players in Fabian Sambueza (midf. / 3 goals last term), Gustavo Aprile (midf. / 1 goal last term) and Javier Grbec (forw. / 4 goals last term) left the club during the break.

Patricio Romero (d / 2+0) got injured in the mid-week and is out for this match against Lanus, as well as Eduardo Ledesma (m / 0+0).

Unlike Temperley, Jorge Almiron’s side have made a flying start to the new campaign: 1-0 in the visit to Estudiantes in the opening round of the season, followed by a 2-1 win at home against Defensa y Justicia last Sunday.

Carlos Araujo (def.), Rodrigo Erramuspe (def.), Sebastian Leto (midf.), Jorge Valdez (midf.) and Matias Fritzler (midf.) left the club in December and January, but were replaced by enough experienced players in Diego Colotto (def.) from Pune City, Ivan Marcone (midf.) from Arsenal Sarandi, Agustin Pelletieri (midf.) from Tigre, Pablo Mouche (forw.) from Palmeiras, Jose Sand (forw.) from Aldosivi, etc.

In addition to that, Jorge Almiron has no new problems with injured and suspended players compared to the previous two rounds.

Lanus is a team with more quality in the squad compared with Temperley, the guests are obviously in a good shape at the start of the new season and I think that they are capable to win three points from this match.
