Crystal Palace vs Watford by TommyC

Both teams come into this game in pretty poor form looking to turn things around after decent starts to the season. Palace have not won in 8 games and will be happy to have taken a point last week at Swansea stopping a run of 5 consecutive defeats. Likewise Watford have lost the last 3 away from home failing to score each time. However they have a ten point gap to the bottom 3 meaning that surviving in the premiership for the first time looks very likely. They just need 7 points from the remaining 13 games to hit the 40 point mark which is usually enough to stay up.

The form of Deeney and Ighalo has been the main reason for Watfords decent season scoring 20 of the clubs 27 goals between them.

Palace have a fair few injury problems, Sako, Bolasie, Ledley and Puncheon are out and Dwight Gayle is a 50/50 shout. They will look to Adebayor up front for their goal threat.

Watford have no fresh injury concerns and Deeney is expected to come back into the staring 11.

Some games have draw written all over them and for me this is one of those, two teams in a poor vein of form, both will obviously feel that 3 points are there for the taking but Watford will take anything to stop the away rot and likewise Palace will take anything to stop their dreadful home form. 1-1 draw for me.

Good luck!pin
