Pumas UNAM vs Pachuca CF by MagicRat

Pumas-UNAM
VS
Pachuca-CF
Puma UNAM may have topped the table in the Apertura but they have struggled in the Clausura since losing the play-off final in the Apertura. In the first four games of the Clausura they have managed one win and they have gathered just four points. Compare this with their opponents today, Pachuca, and they are playing a team in very good form. Pachuca are currently second having won three of their four matches and drawing the other and a win here will see them go top of the table.

In their first four matches only one of Pumas UNAM's has gone over 3.5 goals but that did come in a home match which they won 3-2 against Toluca. Going back to the Apertura they have seen three of their last four home matches go over 3.5 goals and four of their last seven. They have only kept two clean sheets in their last 15 matches and they have failed to stop the opposition scoring in each of their last seven matches.

Pachuca have played three cup games as well as their four league games this year and in these seven matches, only one has not seen both teams score and that was the first of those seven matches. They have scored two or more goals in three of their last four matches and their last two league matches have both gone over 3.5 goals. Going back to the Apertura three of their last four away matches in al competitions have had over 3.5 goals and seen them score two or more goals and the only game in those four that this did not happen was a cup game.

Pumas UNAM became shaky towards the end of the Apertura and have been prone to conceding goals which is bad news considering Pachuca have been scoring well and doing so in away matches, therefore I think there's a good chance of seeing goals in this game.pin
