West Ham may not have been winning much lately but they haven't been losing much either, in fact they have lost only 4/19 matches all season. West Ham also have a few key players returning, last match Carroll returned from injury and this time out key man Payet is expected to be back, so a big boost for the hosts.

West Ham are unbeaten in 6 games, some good results vs Man Utd, Stoke and Southampton in that run, all good teams regardless of form.

At home its even better for West Ham unbeaten in 7 games, no loss since August in front of their home fans.

Liverpool don't impress me much and always seem to short in the odds. They beat Sunderland last round but it was far from convincing winning 0-1. Prior to that match they had lost vs Newcastle and Watford in their previous away games.

Liverpool have won 4/10 away games this season, West Ham have had an extra 2 days to recover as they played on the 28.12 while Liverpool played on the 30.12. I think at this stage of the season that has to be considered. I think West Ham can take something from overrated Liverpool here.pin
