Kubot vs Nishioka by Experttennis

Kubot at his prime was not someone who you wanted to see in your draw , unbeliveable strength , plays without pace and mostly searches for the winners and plays as risky as he can . Good server with excellent volley but this last couple of years havent been too kind to him and his struggles with injuries left a mark on his ranking and on his body .

He isnt the same player he once was for obvious reasons , now he is 471 player in the world . he played some matches in December in Czech league but his oponnents werent that motivated and those leagues only work to get some extra cash in the wallet , not serious tournaments and I will not take the wins he got in consideration . Last season he only played 17 matches , won 10 and lost 7 , his best performance last season was at Brisbane where he passed through combination , beat Anderson in the first round and lost to Groth . After that come the injuries and his wanted comeback was just not in the books .

Nishioka is a very good Jap player . He reminds me a lot of Nishikori even though he doesnt have the same ball striking ability and he is left handed but the quick thinking , quick feet and determination are just the same . Plays the right shots and the right times and he wins almost every close match that he plays , he will either get blown off the court or will win and sometimes even blowout his oponennts of the court .

In good form with 9 straight wins , some in Toyota which was his last serious tournament of the season and some in Asia Pacific league against players like Wu , Sun , Li (all 2:0 ) and Jung with 2:1 .

Guys this is a risky one , thats why its going on lower stake and I respect Kubot as a player a lot but dont know of he is ready , there is a lot of better matches but this is my choice on this one .
