Bury haven't played on Boxing day, while Vale yes. This could be an important advantage in this period with a lot of games. Bury is now in the mid part of the table like Vale, but I rate them as a decent team, especially their attack. They have a very good centre forward like the former Wolves man Leon Clarke. He's a very good player for this level of play. He was a very good striker at Coventry and the powerful striker has scored a lot of goals for them in League One. Clarke has scored 10 goals this season. Also, Bury have another proven goal scorer in the division, former Vale striker Tom Pope. He started in only 11 games this season, but even so he has scored 5 goals. Unfortunately, the young winger Joe Dodoo who made a good impression at Bury has returned to his parent club Leicester after his loan deal has expired. Anyway, Bury have options as Danny Mayor or Danny Rose are good choices for the attack of the away side. Vale will be without influential central midfielder Anthony Grant. He was a regular starter for Port Vale this and his absence is important. I like a lot the attack of Bury and I think they are able to score goals today.
