Manchester C. vs Sunderland by FP
Manchester City’s opponents here are Sam Allardyce’s Sunderland team who are back in the losing habit after a brief resurgence. Sunderland have now lost their last three Premier League games – 3-1 to Chelsea, 3-1 to Arsenal and 1-0 to Watford. I think that big Sam will see anything that his side gets from this game to be an unexpected bonus as they are in for a tough afternoon and probably will get the backlash from the City defeat on Monday.
Pellegrini welcomed back Sergio Aguero against Arsenal and although his performance was not the greatest he will have had some much needed match practice and will be a lot sharper as a result. David Silva is also now nearing full fitness although he was not deemed fit enough to last the 90 minutes last time out. Raheem Sterling started on the bench against Arsenal as Fabian Delph was preferred for tactical reaons but Sterling should reclaim his place against Sunderland.
I see Manchester City wanting to prove a point and scoring a few goals in the process back at with home comforts at The Etihad. Back them to overcome a one goal handicap (to win by two or more goals)Arsenal sent out a strong message for their Premier League rivals when beating Manchester City with ease on Monday night. Although Yaya Toure’s spectacular late goal did give City fans a glimmer of hope it is fair to say that Arsenal were comfortable all night long and won with a lot more authority than the 2-1 scoreline suggests.Good luck with your bets, and feel free to check out my free personal site www.footypreviews.com
