Scunthorpe vs Leyton Orient by Hassy
Leyton Orient come into the game after a tough 1-1 draw at Mansfield. The game was contested in horrendous weather conditions on a really soggy pitch so it could prove crucial to tiredness. Leyton Orient have not lost in four games now but have drawn three on the bounce in the league. They have only won three games on their travels in league 2 so far this season.
Orient manager Ian Hendon bemoaned his team's performance in the first match between the two sides and has assured fans that he wants a better performance from his side this time around. The O’s will be without Queens Park Rangers loanee Cole Kpekawa once more. The left-back hasn’t been given permission to play in the FA Cup. That means Frazer Shaw will regain his place in the side. Long term absentees Dean Cox and Paul McCallum (both knee) miss out whilst midfielder Sammy Moore (leg) is out until the new year with bone bruising.
This game will see the winner face Chelsea in a televised match so the motivation for both sides will be huge. Scunthorpe are in a league above the visitors and have done the hard work in gaining a reply ten days ago. They have won 5 of there ten games at home so I will pick them to prove their superior quality and progress into the next round in what will be a tight affair.
