UCSB vs USC by QuidProQuo
Tonight we have a late game in Santa Barbara where the Gauchos host Southern California Trojans. Line opened as USC being 2.5 point favorite, but right now it sits at 1.5 at most books.
Santa Barbara can be tough place to play and I expect the team to be very motivated tonight and considering that Bob Williams is known as a solid coach, that shouldn't be an issue. Looking at numbers, Santa Barbara is allowing 69 points per game, 40% from the field and 29% from three-point. If they hold USC around those numbers and below 70, they have decent chance to take straight up win.
USC is allowing 74 points per game and they lost their last two games in a row where they allowed 87 and 83. Also, USC is 3-12-1 ATS their last 16 games as small road favorites, while Santa Barbara is 4-1 ATS in their last five as an underdog, so it's nice spot tonight for them.
All in all, I think Santa Barbara is at worst around 50-50% to win, so 2.21 odds is definitely a nice value for us...
