Martin looks to avoid a season-high fifth straight loss and second at home after a 1-2 overtime loss against Kosice on Nov. 22.

The hosts are still on eighth position in the league table, but level on points with Zilina, which means that they can’t afford to make mistake in that game.

0-0-1-3 4/13 for Martin from the last four games, but three of those four encounters were away from home and against some of the best teams in the league.

On the other hand, the hosts have won ten of their previous twelve home games this season (seven of them in the regular time) and lost here only against good teams like Zvolen (1-4) and Kosice (1-2 OT).

Orange 20 is actually the Slovak men’s national under-20 ice hockey team, who competes in this league as a part of its preparation for the upcoming IIHF World 20 Championship in Finland at the end of the month.

This team is built entirely by young and inexperienced players and is obvious that the guests lack the potential of the other ten teams in this league.

Orange 20 won only two of its previous nineteen games against teams from the Slovak Extraliga (1-1-0-17 25/86), as twelve of the other seventeen encounters were lost with three or more goals difference, including each of the last eight against Trencin (0-3/home), Poprad (0-5/home), Zilina (2-6/home), Zvolen (3-6/home), Nitra (2-5/away), Kosice (0-8/home), Banska Bystrica (3-7/away) and Piestany (3-7/home).

I think that the hosts will win that game with at least three goals difference.

Martin can win, but i don´t wait some big margin in score. Their offense is not too good and they have young team, for lot of players this is 1.season in this league. This handicap is too high and it will be narrowly. GL
