Slavia Sofia vs Montana by DoubleDown
All in all, Sofia is playing a tight game right now and I don’t see them taking a lot of chances here. There’s been an average of 1.705 goals scored per game in their last 17 league games with them scoring an average of 0.875 goals per game. At home they score an average of 0.625 GPG with a total goals per game average of just 1.
Montana’s currently in 9th place, second from the bottom with a 3-4-10 overall record with 13 goals scored and 21 conceded. Nobody in the league has scored less than Montana except for opposing Slavia Sofia and last place, Pirin Blagoevgrad. It seems that after being bumped up from Bulgaria’s B league earlier this year they've barley been able to hold on. At the moment they are destine for relegation once again. I'm hoping that by them being in one of these spots it will push their defence that much harder to prevent any goals.
There’s been an average of 1.705 goals scored in Montana's last 17 per games and only 4 out of their last 16 games have had results with more than 2 goals. On the road Monatana is 2nd last in the league with a 0-2-6 record, just 1 goal scored and 9 allowed. Their GPG average drops dramatically from 2 overall, all the way to down to 0.8 while travelling. Their goals scored per game average falls from 1.3 overall way down to 0.125 while away. A lot like Sofia, they are struggling to score, while Montana can't produce on the road it seems Sofia can't score at home. A match made in heaven...
I don’t see more than 2 goals here and I definitely can’t see Montana winning. Even the top 2 teams, Ludogorets and Levski only scored 2 goals against Montana while not allowing any. Their last away goal came against, Litex Lovex, 6 league games ago. Until last week’s 1-1 draw against last place, Pirin Blagoevgrad, they hadn't scored in 3 games, or 6 league matches.
The last time these two teams met it resulted in a 1-2 away victory for Sofia. The reassuring part to this is that it came in the extra time of the first half, a time when Sofia might have had their guard down. One would also think that they learned from this embarrassment. We must also keep in mind that Montana had the home pitch advantage here so what's stopping them from doing even better @ home? It’s something to think about...
An AH of -1 for Slavia Sofia just might pay out and is low risk. Also less risk and more chance of reward is U 2.5 but probably more fitting for a parley as it pays less. Even less risk would be to parley "No" on "Both Teams To Score" with some teams like Shahktar and Sparta, two 9/10's =)... I'm hoping for a 1-0 final score, more likely it will be 2-0 for Slavia sofia.
