Creteil vs Paris FC by Alcuni

Creteil
VS
Paris-FC
Without a win from long time Creteil started the game against Auxerre played on the road in great shape. Totally dominating a better team but on counter attack Auxerre scored first. Without being demoralized after this goal, Creteil continue to make their good game and missed few chances before the level at 1, near aprox 30 mins. Till the break another 2 chances for Creteil who if converted at least once other would have been the final outcome. After the break Creteil seemed to be ok with a point and didn’t make the same offensive football preferring to defend. And After a corner they conceded 2nd goal and this was the history of the game because Creteil couldn’t come back in game. The “non” goal scored in injury time by Adama Ba remains a study case for “goal-line” technology.

Paris is making slowly another steps towards National. After 12 rounds with only 1 defeat and 10 draws, the team lost last 4 consecutive games scoring only 2 goals and conceding 10 times. Too little for a team who started the seasons with some pretentions. The team is basically relying on a good GK but for sure isn’t enough. In last home game lost 0-3 against Dijon they started in a good manner having a post in 2nd min. But right after this huge opportunity (and after all the single important chance for score) their best man so far GK Thebeaux made perhaps his single mistake so far and Dijon opened the score thanks to Tavares. After the goal we saw a single team on the pitch for most of the time, Dijon cause Paris FC was incapable to react. A positive fact for them is recovering of striker Fauvergue who played about 15 mins in this game.

Two teams in bad shape will try to finish their bad series of defeats. So back the draw as a fair result for both. gl
